  1. Still Waiting Says:

    Status: Still displeased with DMI.

Recap: Ordered Tyrant Volume 8 within a few hours of it becoming available on Akadot. Paid full cover price plus exorbitant shipping because I wanted the bonus omake card that was supposed to come with the manga. Received the book. Didn’t receive the omake card. DID receive Project-H promotional ad between the pages of my BL manga, however. Complained loudly.

Update: Was told that the omission of the omake card was an error and that I should contact Akadot with my order information to get the problem resolved. Did so. A week ago. Have received NO REPLY as of yet.

    Conclusion: UTTERLY RIDICULOUS.

Still Waiting- That’s odd because I too had the same problem. I contacted them, they quickly responded and when I made my order for Priceless Honey and Juicy Cider there was my omake card in the package. I know this probably doesn’t make you feel better but maybe try contacting them again.

I’ve contacted Akadot and asked them to please get in touch with anyone still waiting for the omake card. I apologize again for the wait and will personally check in with them to ensure the issue is taken care of.

Wow. I can’t decide whether I feel better or worse about the fact that it’s apparently just me. *facepalm*

I’ve emailed Akadot again in case my first message got lost in the shuffle or was eaten by the cyberwebz. Here’s hoping I hear something at the beginning of the week…
